Hi stamping friends, I wanted to share this super fun team grid project with you today. My Stampin Up team is spread across the country so we have a private Facebook page. We share, chat, get to know each other, and we do different challenges and projects together which is really fun.
This grid is one of the latest that we have done, we actually have two on the go, and this one is done with the Stampin Up Brights as our color pallet.
The guidelines were simple, Brights as the color pallet, all current S.U. products, that way if our team mates wanted to use this for a class project, they could, and they already have their display piece – sweet right?
Each person created 9 little 2″ square pieces of art, kept one and mailed the other eight to the other people in the group When we received them, we mounted them onto 2-1/4″ squares (mine are Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay) and then we framed them as we wished.
Mine are mounted on a piece of Whisper White that is 7-3/4 square, then a piece of Bermuda Bay card stock, 8-1/4 square and then onto a piece of Bermuda Bay Designer Paper from the paper stack – 12 x 12.
Once it was all done, it’s framed in a 12 x 12 shadow box frame picked up at my local craft store.
It was a super fun project and very exciting to get each piece in the mail, open it and then spend days, moving them around trying to figure out where to place them, LOL. I was involved in the Subtles grid too, so I’ll share that with you as soon as I get it framed….
